Our audience
Readers come to Future Tech Today for explanatory coverage of artificial intelligence, web platform engineering, mobile hardware, and spatial computing. That draws a professional audience: people who read a 2,000-word analysis of a chip architecture because it affects a decision they are about to make.
Because our coverage is organised into six well-defined sections, campaigns can be aligned with genuine reader intent rather than broad demographic targeting.
Advertising formats
Display advertising
Standard IAB units are served programmatically through Google AdSense, with inventory in three positions:
- Leaderboard (728×90 / 970×250) — above the masthead, on every page.
- Medium rectangle (300×250) — mid-article, after the introduction.
- Half-page (300×600) — sidebar, sticky on desktop.
Newsletter placement
A single sponsor slot per issue, positioned after the lead story. Newsletter placements are sold directly rather than programmatically, so creative and copy are agreed in advance.
Sponsored content
We publish sponsored articles written to the same editorial standards as our own reporting. Sponsored pieces are labelled clearly, carry a rel="sponsored" attribute on advertiser links, and are excluded from reviews, rankings, and comparison articles.
Editorial independence
This is the part we consider non-negotiable, so it is worth stating plainly:
- Advertisers do not see editorial content before it is published.
- Advertisers cannot request the removal or amendment of coverage they dislike. Buying advertising confers no editorial influence of any kind.
- Review scores and product recommendations are never affected by an advertising relationship. Where a company we cover is also an advertiser, we disclose it in the article.
- We decline advertising for products we consider misleading or harmful to readers, regardless of budget.
What we do not accept
- Paid links intended to pass search ranking signals.
- Undisclosed sponsored content or native advertising presented as editorial.
- Adult content, gambling, or misleading financial products.
- Advertising that auto-plays audio or obstructs the reading experience.
